Includes all labor, materials and supplies needed for conducting the cleaning on tile and grout areas
based on the entered square footage. Results are approximations based on cleaning these areas in the
United States. Total cost sums exclude any taxes charged for both materials and labor amounts.
Options for Cleaning the Tile & Grout:
1 A contiguous area of tile having bordering grout joints. In order
to be cleaned effectively, during a reasonable time session, note that both the
grout and the tile should have been sealed after they were initially put in
(except for types of tiles or grouts that do not require sealing, such as with the possibility
for epoxy grouts).
2 Upper price quotes possibly reflect repeated attempts that require
added scrubbing and light stain & spot removal.
Inclusions and Exclusions
Included is a moderate to aggresive cleaning. This excludes resolving any exceptional
staining or ground-in surface grime that can require more intensive efforts and procedures.
Labor, Materials and Supplies notes:
The labor component charged to the project only.
Includes all labor needed which may be by hand or via an auto scrubber, a rotary or hard-surface extractor which may require
exerting pressures of up to 2500 psi to 3000 psi.
Tools and supplies accounted for in addition to the above
include tile brushes and grout brushes, pads and replacement rotary brushes along with solutions such as tile pretreatments and cleaner solutions.
Grade of supplies and solutions are intercompatible and rated
at moderate and above.
