1 The diagonal is laid at 45 degrees while straight is parallel with the walls. Note that large travertine is often set on the angle on the floor.
2 This is the length times width (inches) divided by 144.

A simple decorative travertine border may be part of the completed floor. Custom borders or inlays are excluded.

Includes supplying & applying adhesives like thinset mortar mix and mortar base such as if required by larger tiles; applying back buttering techniques where called for.
  • Tools and supplies accounted for include occasional replacement diamond blades for wet tile saw, and manual tile cutters and nippers. Includes the placement of spacers that are normally 1/8" to 1/2" although many tile setters do not opt for these.
  • Taking measures at protecting existing flooring, and final cleanup and disposal of waste is allocated within these amounts.
  • Grade of supplies and materials are intercompatible and rated at moderate and above.
