Includes all labor, materials and supplies needed for the bifold door installation as per below. The results are across-the-board approximations only. They are not meant to mimic actual price quotations. Total cost sums exclude any taxes charged for both materials and labor amounts.

Options for Interior Bifold Doors:

¹ Either a single hinged door unit or a side-by-side double bifold.
² Figures for pine doors, in both flush surface and common panel styles, and which includes the 'plantation louver'. For masonite, also called 'hardboard' or 'molded' surface - these are anywhere from 2 to 6 panel designs. Generally, hollow core doors are integrated among the low prices and solid core among the higher amounts.

Inclusions and Exclusions

Numbers cover supplying the bifold door unit, tracks, any basic door hardware, and performing the install. Placing any jamb-sections, casings/trim, and upper valence are all excluded. It is assumed that the upper horizontal surface is level and the sides stand at straight right angles. Calculations for each bifold is costed out in 30 inch x 80 inch dimensions.

Painting or staining of the doors are not included.

Labor, Materials and Supplies notes:

The labor component charged to the project only.

Includes all labor necessary for the completion of project from setup, providing fasteners and screws, nail guns, and cordless screwdrivers.

Amounts for the labor portion may fluctuate based on the particular zip code as can the bifold door units themselves.

Door Specifics

Grade of doors, supplies and materials are rated at builders quality on up. Higher grade wood species, and specialized designs - those with mirrors, glass panels or more unique carpentry - would all have an upcharge.
