Cost to Paint the Interior

Includes all labor, materials and supplies needed for performing the work per below based on entered base dimensions.
Results are approximations based on interiors painted in the United States. Total cost sums exclude any taxes charged for both materials and labor amounts.
Options for Interior Painting:
1 That feature typical or low profile mouldings
Includes baseboard and window & door casings though not french-style frames. Excludes any crown mould or chair rail.
2 Storage closets located off the main living spaces. Excludes specialty areas such as the utility room and the laundry area.
3 Due to factors like existing coverage and chosen colors, most situations call for two coats to be applied
on most surfaces. Trim normally gets two coats as an off-white option.
Inclusions and Exclusions
Included are walls whether they are drywall or plaster type surfaces. Ceilings and doors are excluded.
Labor, Materials and Supplies notes:
The labor component charged to the project only.
Includes all labor necessary for the completion of project from setup, providing ladders and any necessary staging and/or scaffolding
equipment.
Painter labor also includes shifting moderate amounts of furniture among an occupied residence.
Alots a nominal amount of preparation. Accounting for minimal cosmetic wall patching and sanding like from small nail holes & dings.
Where trim is to be painted, caulking and puttying is figured on.
Final cleanup and disposal of empty cans and waste is also part of this amount. Clearly labeling any partial cans is considered a
best practice at organization.
Amounts for the labor portion per specific geographic locales may fluctuate based
on the particular zip code by 15% and greater. Especially for certain metropolitan areas.
Paint Specifics
Above is figured applying mainly flat or low sheen coatings throughout, with
the exception of the bathroom and kitchen areas.
Grade of paint, supplies and materials are rated at moderate and above, excluding the cheapest "builders quality" and yet also
are the most expensive lines of paint coatings.
