Cost to Regrout Tile
Our regrout cost for 2024 calculator allows you to go from very thin to one-eighth joints.
Includes all labor, materials and supplies needed for performing the work based
on the grout width and tile square footage. Results are approximations
based on regrouts in the United States. Total cost sums exclude any taxes
charged for both materials and labor amounts.
Options for Regrouting Tile:
1 Pick the grout size that is nearest the joints at hand.
2 For common size rectangular/square tiles.
Inclusions and Exclusions
Included is the removal of the failing, absent or lacking joints sufficiently
enough to accept the placement and tooling of new grout. The applied grout is to abridge
and match the old grout in color and pattern of fill. Some tile setters may choose to use a bonding agent
admix to increase adhesion characteristics.
Labor, Materials and Supplies notes:
The labor component charged to the project only.
Includes all labor needed which may involve removal by hand or by automated means.
Tools and supplies accounted for include a handheld grout saw with replacement blades,
the mixing grout, buckets, grout float and sponges and cheesecloth for buffing.
Taking measures at protecting surrounding areas, vacuuming and final cleanup and disposal of waste is allocated within these amounts.
Grade of supplies and grouts are intercompatible and rated at moderate and above.
