Inclusions and Exclusions
Included are all areas that consist of drywall only. Excluded
is any wallboard bending methods applied for achieving a curving surface.
Also included is trip time, multiple visits to the same project which normally
accounts for a large percentage of the total amount.
Labor, Materials and Supplies notes:
The labor component charged to the project only.
Includes all labor necessary for the completion of project from setup and
providing staging for access to patch area, depending on patch size and ceiling height.
Includes all materials and supplies from prepping and clearing
the damaged area, on to setting backers/clips & replacement board, on to taping and mudding
seams & sanding off the surface (excludes texturing). Materials include screws,
nails, mudding compound and possibly topping compound for achieving a match
with surrounding areas. Type of taping used may be paper or nylon-mesh type.
Includes waste of sheetrock due to partial cuts.
Efforts for dust containment may add a minimal amount to this
total figure certainly where drywall is being cleared from & placed inside existing structures.
Final cleanup and disposal of waste is allocated within these amounts.
Grade of supplies and materials are rated at moderate and above, and this may include the application of 'low dust'
all purpose compound atop drywall.
Amounts for the labor portion per specific geographic locales may fluctuate based
on the particular zip code by 15% and greater. Especially for certain metropolitan areas.
