Cost to Install Marble Countertops
Our marble counter costs for 2024 calculator allows you to
change dimensions/nosing & refigure.
Includes all labor, materials and supplies needed for performing the work based on entered
countertop dimensions. Results are approximations based on installs for marble in the United States.
Total cost sums exclude any taxes charged for both materials and labor amounts.
Options for Installing Marble:
1 The standard depth of counters is 26 inches deep (adjustable). The total length in inches.
2 Assumes that the backsplash runs the entire counter length when
present. For variously tall wall cabinets, take the average height.
3 Standard nosing styles typically come included with marble pricing.
Inclusions and Exclusions
Included is the pulling of the existing countertop surface and disposing of it.
Excluded is the cutout for the sink area which typically costs about $150 depending
on the sizes & edge contour, as is the cutout for any stove top near the same
price (undermounts extra). Seperate hole cutouts for sink fixtures are normally
extra as these may be sink mounted as well.
Labor, Materials and Supplies notes:
The labor component charged to the project only.
Includes all labor necessary for the completion of project from measuring counters to be placed, on to final
installation including labor required for lifting and setting of the marble stone in place. As well as caulking of any open seams.
Includes all materials and supplies needed for prepping and
clearing the subsurface. Marble materials allocates amounts due to waste factor.
Includes fabrication efforts needed to attain desired edging.
Final cleanup and disposal of waste is allocated within these amounts.
Amounts for the labor portion per specific geographic locales may fluctuate based
on the particular zip code by 5% and greater.
